Riebeek welcomes Olwethu Mxoli, Riebeek Old Girl Class of 2013, a published poet and one of News24's 100 Mandela’s of the Future. She loves people and is passionate about education and the writing process. She facilitates poetry workshops all around the Bay, including a few at Riebeek. Some of her highlights include co-facilitating the centenary celebration of the Sinking of the Mendi at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Museum in 2017, the School @ home, Winter School Project and the Helenvale Poets. She is a member of the Ecca Poets and a facilitator and member of the Helenvale Poets, who participated in the prestigious McGregor Poetry Festival in August last year. Miss Mxoli is currently a student at Unisa and is very pleased to be interning back home with the Riebeek family as an intern.
