An Oscar for Excellent Photography goes to Taybah Teladia who caught a very sweet moment on camera on 1 February using Mr Weidemann’s camera. A few juniors rushed to Mrs Stear to congratulate her and the picture is full of hugs, joys, spontaneity and smiles.
A Oscar for Journalism goes to Saneliswe Jikeka for her article on prefects’ camp as her article includes stories of the highlights of the camps, mentions individual contributions. It is interesting yet informative and keeps a good balance between reporting on the event and weaving a compelling story line around the report.
